The San Francisco School Alliance regularly brings together leaders of the philanthropic community for up-to-date information and discussion on the progress of education reform in our city.
Every quarter, the School Alliance creates a forum where district leadership meets with leaders in the philanthropic community to report on progress, solicit input and celebrate accomplishments. These sessions often lead to lively discussions of new and exciting ways to apply ideas, funding and connections to the needs ofSan Francisco’s 56,000 students. Started in February 2010, these convenings are an important way to demonstrate how the district is working to improve student outcomes and where private investment can have the most impact on student success.
Recent Funders Convenings focused on Early Education, Core Curriculum and Strategic Performance Management. If you are interested in participating in an upcoming Funders Convening.
